Track School Pics Coming Soon

The Boland Bikes / RST track school pics are being sorted and will be online shortly (either today or tomorrow). If you want to know exactly when, then subscribe, top right and you'll get an email when they're up.

WPMC regional motorcycle racer Martin van Staden on the mighty 6 cylinder Honda CBX1000 showed us all how to truly destroy an engine. As can be seen on the right, his bottom end bearings on the right hand conrod seized up, snapped off below the piston and in rotation, ripped a gaping hole in his engine casing.

The good news... the right hand side of the bike will never rust with a good coating of oil, and ... well, I think thats the only good news on this story!

Regional Racing This Weekend (5th July)

Thats right, this weekend sees the 5th round of the WPMC regional racing.

Dean Fenn is going to be sharing his 2-litre Opel Kadett with motorcycle hotshot Danie Maritz during the 2-Hour endurance race at Killarney on July 5.

Hey Everyone,

Are you as annoyed as I am with this weather? Sheesh, 2 Mike Cameron track days washed out in a row! I'm sure Mike is even more upset than me...

Well, not to dwell on the negative, I have some relatively good news. I seem to have struck on an idea to keep circuitchaser your number one resource for racing and track day images! More about that below.

Please remember, we still have stock of the Kiss My Slicks! and The clean air is up front Hoodies. I've reduced the price to R250 each and they're ideal for Cape Town winter. I've hardly taken mine off! Email me if you're keen.

This weekend is going to be pretty fun with a streetcar track day, and main circuit practice on Saturday and the Boland Bikes/RST track school on Sunday. The weekend following being our mighty regionals.

Salvaging Circuitchaser.com

If you're a racer or somehow involved at Killarney with the racing, you're undoubtedly a bit disappointed in the fact that of late, we haven't been putting up the racing pics.

This is for one sad, yet seemingly insurmountable problem... viability!

Until now that is!

I've come up with a plan that will, at least for the next few weeks have every one of my pictures published on the website, and even quicker than in the past!

With a bit of brainstorming, I've come to the conclusion that I need to take on some low cost "photo sorting" personnel to assist me with the post production of the images. And with an AMAZING response following my ad posted on Gumtree, I will soon have the images crushed and sorted in record time!

I hope our little leave of absence from business as usual has not left a bad taste in your mouth, and if it has, there will soon be some chocolate to make things better...

Don't Let The Bastards Grind You Down!

That is my family motto (appointed by my father, but originally coined by British army intelligence), and I'm ashamed to admit, I've not been living up to it.

Of late, there have been a couple of posts on Circuitchaser that have absolutely nothing to do with motorsport, nor the photography thereof. I've removed one of them as it really served no purpose besides me have a good ol' rant.

I'm making a public statement that I'm gonna cut that bull*** out and focus on what you come to circuitchaser for. Cool pictures!

Sorry for letting people piss on my battery and from now on, it'll be like water on a duck's back, and I'll try and keep on topic. Thanks for putting me straight... you know who you are.

I do this because I enjoy it, and love the sport. I'm trying to make some money from it to, else I won't be doing it for long. If you have a problem with that, please, keep it to yourself, or go and shout at a wall or something. I won't be listening, and I won't be responding to antagonists anymore.
